L'chaim Nigunim

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 19, 2026

This policy explains what personal data L'chaim Nigunim ("we", "us") collects when you use lchaimnigunim.com, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have — wherever you are located, including the European Union, the United States, and Israel.

Who we are

L'chaim Nigunim is a small, independently run project selling songbooks and organizing musical experiences. For any privacy question, contact us at orders@lchaimnigunim.com.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to fulfill orders, respond to inquiries, and run the site:

  • Contact and order details you submit through our forms: name, email, phone number, and — for Israel deliveries — a shipping address.
  • Payment information for direct online purchases, processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
  • Basic usage data collected automatically via Vercel Analytics (pages visited, general location, device type) to understand how the site is used. This data is aggregated and not used to identify you individually.

How we use your data

  • To process and deliver your order, and send order confirmations.
  • To respond to messages sent through our contact forms or WhatsApp.
  • To send order-related emails (e.g. payment instructions, delivery updates).
  • To keep the site secure and understand overall traffic patterns.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that help us run the site and fulfill orders:

  • Stripe — payment processing for direct online purchases.
  • Supabase — secure database storage for orders and inquiries.
  • Resend — transactional emails (order confirmations, replies to inquiries).
  • Vercel — website hosting and anonymized analytics.

Each of these providers processes data only on our behalf and under their own security safeguards.

Data retention

We keep order and inquiry records for as long as needed to fulfill orders, handle any related questions, and meet our accounting and legal obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, to obtain a copy of it, or to object to certain uses.

  • European Union / EEA (GDPR): you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to its processing. Our legal basis for processing is generally the performance of a contract (fulfilling your order) or our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiries.
  • California residents (CCPA/CPRA):you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — we do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
  • Israel: you have the right to review and request correction of your data held in our records, under the Protection of Privacy Law.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at orders@lchaimnigunim.com and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections (HTTPS), access-restricted databases, and trusted third-party processors — to protect your data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

Cookies

We use minimal, privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) that does not rely on tracking cookies to identify you across sites. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
